About Locks Web Solutions
Why The Name Locks Web Solutions?
The name comes from the lock system that is part of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Between 3,000 and 4,000 commercial ships pass through it each year, moving more than 200 million metric tonnes of goods from the Atlantic Ocean into the Great Lakes.
The Seaway locks are critical infrastructure that keeps commerce moving. We believe a website is infrastructure too. It is an evolving asset that should scale with your business, which is why we believe it's worth putting in the extra effort upfront and building it right from the beginning.
Every decision comes with trade-offs. Performance, security, accessibility, SEO, conversion, and maintainability all depend on the foundation underneath. Shortcuts may save time initially, but poor infrastructure creates bigger problems down the road. We build websites with the long term in mind, creating a foundation businesses can continue to build on.
Aaron Tibben Owner, DeveloperYour Local Web Developer
Hi, I'm Aaron, the owner of Locks Web Solutions. I got into programming and developing websites during high school and never stopped. I fell in love with the craft and dedicated all my spare time to learning it. I've always wanted to start my own business, helping others achieve their goals.
What I discovered was that many small businesses simply couldn't afford to spend thousands of dollars upfront on a new website. And the ones who could often got taken advantage of, paying thousands for a crappy website that didn't work. Building a proper website isn't easy, despite what Wix and Squarespace advertise.
Small businesses were stuck in a frustrating spot. They couldn't afford a good website, and when they could, they didn't know someone they could trust to build them something great, or at the very least, someone who picks up the f***n phone when they have a problem.
So I adjusted my business model to fit their needs. I take on more upfront capital risk, providing a website with ongoing support at a rate that makes sense. Providing reliable infrastructure to businesses who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it.
